Hello Bright Parents,

Welcome to Birdielee V. Bright Elementary. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We are dedicated to providing students with a rigorous, standards-based curriculum that eliminates opportunity gaps. Students will also learn that, with effort, they are capable of achieving any goal.

Parent volunteers are welcome and needed to support our school community. Parents may volunteer on a regular schedule in classrooms or for the morning drop-off program we will implement this year. They may also volunteer on special projects that fit the needs of their schedules. If you would like to be a school volunteer, please call our office at (323) 733-1178 and submit your application here.

Our office is open Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We communicate regularly with our parents through our monthly newsletter, “Coffee with the Principal,” council meetings, parent workshops, school webpage and social media, and school marquee.
